For deep installations, we typically recommend a reinforced, multi-conductor cable with a Kevlar strength member and a polyurethane jacket. It resists the pull-in forces during installation and handles the long-term high water pressure. Tell us the borehole depth and we’ll confirm the exact cable specification for your piezometer model.

Can I get connectors that are already wired to the sensor?

Yes, we can supply sensors with a pre-attached cable and connector of your choice. This saves you time on site and reduces the risk of wiring mistakes. Common options include weatherproof circular connectors or simple pigtail leads. Just specify the cable length and connector type when you order.

Do you sell mounting brackets separately if I lose the original ones?

We do. Brackets for inclinometer beams, settlement plates, and other instruments are available as individual spare parts. Give us the instrument model and we’ll send you the correct bracket. If your site needs a custom bracket design, our engineering team can work from your sketch.

What kind of enclosure do I need for a datalogger in a coastal area?

We also recommend a desiccant pack inside to prevent condensation and a cable gland system that keeps moisture out even during heavy storms. How do I extend a cable already buried if it gets cut during construction?
