The accelerometer core uses a micromachined capacitive MEMS element. It responds to acceleration with a change in capacitance, which we condition to a stable analog voltage or digital output. This design gives high linearity and a noise floor low enough for seismic monitoring. Our standard ranges span ±2g to ±200g—covering everything from subtle structural tilts to blast-induced vibrations. Housings come in stainless steel or anodized aluminum, rated IP68 for submersion or direct burial. MEMS capacitive accelerometers can read down to DC, so they capture both vibration and very slow inclination changes.
